Jacques Augustin has been working in financial services for close to 15 years, gaining experience in the field of Insurance, Annuities and Investments. Prior to entering the financial services business, Jacques and his wife Marie owned and managed a Physical Therapy and Acupuncture clinic in New York. Jacques is a former Associate Professor in Physical Therapy at Florida International University.

They joined PFS in August 1999 where they spent 3 years during which they became one of their 100K dollar earners for 2 consecutive years. They then opted out of that system to become independent. Taking advantage of the HBW opportunity, Jacques opened his first office in December 2003 that eventually became the Headquarters for a nationally run agency of fourteen Base Shops in collaboration with HBW up until December 2011. He currently own and run along with several senior agents MDA-Management & Development of Agencies, Inc.

Between 2004 and 2011, Jacques’ “HBW Leaders” system bolstered the promotion of 14 Agency VP’s across Florida and the US. This accumulation of years of success running the business inspired him to write his first book on the subject: “The Art and Craft of Building a Life Insurance Agency – Building a business that works when you don’t”.
